  1. Luke I really like the happy face that you have put on your note. If you could choose to make a note with any amount you wanted on it what would it be? why would you choose that?

  2. Hi Luke
I really like the colourful smiley face on your $5 note. I used to work in a bank and when I counted the money, the face on whatever the note was, needed to be 'face up'. If your note was in the pile, I am sure it would make me smile when I got to it, because of the colourful smiley face. What a great job you have done! What inspired you to choose a smiley face for your $5 note? Why did you choose the amount of $5?

    1. I chose a smiley face because there are faces on all money and I like smiley faces. I chose $5 because that was the money we looked at in our reading.

  3. Hi Luke, did you put any safety features on your note like we read about in the story? I really like your colourful smiley face. Keep up the great learning, you are doing great even though you have such bad interent.

  4. Kia ora Luke,
Well done on designing a brand new New Zealand $5 note! This was such a creative idea, and you should be very proud of your ingenuity.
I really like the colour you have chosen as the base of the note. The ombre auburn colour is stunning, and it really blends well with the colours of our other bank notes.
I see you have included two seperate faces on this note, and this interests me because all of the current New Zealand bank notes only have one person.
The $5 includes an image of Sir Edmund Hillary, the $10 is of Kate Sheppard, the $20 note is of Queen Elizabeth ll, and so on.
Who are the two people on your note?
The people chosen to be on our bank notes are on there because of their great achievements. Sir Edmund Hillary was a mountaineer, and Kate Shepard was a suffragette.
What actions did the people you include do that you think are worthy of being on our country's $5 note?
It would be awesome if you could reply to this comment and let me know!
    Keep up the great work!
    Nga mihi

  6. I also like the rainbow colours and the fact that it says New Zealand so if you were lucky enough to travel overseas (when it is safe to do so again) you wouldn't get it muddled up with another country's money.
