Term 2

Today I'm going to show you some of the things that I have been doing for term two at school. I did some persuasive writing about Matariki it was kind of fun but I didn't really want to write about Matariki. I really enjoyed having Milo  morning tea it was really fun because my mum made cake for it and we got to talk about what we did in the weekends. Milo morning tea is when we have time out of the class and have a milo with the Principal. 

I had fun doing sculptgl because we could sculpture what we wanted. What I enjoyed most was the google music lab where we could make a beat and add a song to it. We did some Matariki art and had to make a blog about it. It was fun making a animated GIF when we had to use screen carsyfie and then we had to delete the background and replace it we also did one with some buddies. We did some P.E. to get some exercise it was really hard because we did a lap of the bike track before we did P.E. We had to learn a heap of songs to sing at assembly. We had to make some games on scratch which was fun. We made a website to put our animated GIF's on and I found that bit hard. We did some practice for the debate (argument) we did it with a group. I find maths hard but I still had to do it😭.Here are some pictures off the things I did. Could you put an animated GIF on your blog? 

                 

Matariki Animation

 Nate and I will have the same animation because we were buddy's. We have made a animation about how Matariki was made. We did this to retell a legend we already knew. To make this I did not use any google pictures except for the background. First I had to make the characters. Second we put in the background we were going to add some music. but we couldn't decide which to put in, So we didn't add any.  We put  allot of effort into this so I hope you like it.                                        The water cycle

                                    By Luke Tozer                      Did you know that water has been on earth before the dinosaurs? Water on earth is constantly being

recycled. People don’t care about water but they should if it wasn't for water we wouldn't be alive. We are

lucky some people don’t even have water. We should be grateful for our water.Did you know There is

less than 3% of freshwater on planet earth?The water cycle is constantly moving in a circle. The water rises into the air as water vapour and connects to droplets of water and becomes a cloud and this

is called evaporation when the cloud gets to heavy the water falls we call this raining some goes down the

drain and some goes into the ground also into the river’s lakes and the oshin rivers go to the oshin. This

repeats over and over again. 

Did you know There is less than 3% of freshwater on planet earth?You may have noticed that there were

no clouds when you looked at the original view of the Earth in the above scene viewer. The reality is that

clouds often cover views of the oceans and lands when seen from space. Water doesn't stay in the same

place. Rivers flow. Clouds blow. Ice melts. Ocean currents move. Environmental factors affect the

movement of water and this is described as the water cycle. The entire system is powered by the energy of the Sun, which sees water exchanged between

oceans, the atmosphere, and the land.  The entire water cycle can be considered a continuous

process. There is no definitive beginning and there is no definitive end. The process is like a

circle and as one process is happening somewhere, another process is occurring elsewhere. As precipitation reaches the ground, gravity and the path of least resistance transports some water along

the surface of the ground until it reaches bodies of water like rivers, lakes, streams or the ocean. This is

referred to as run-off.

Facts

 Today I found out a fact about coast to coast that. In May 2013 Robin Judkins sold the Coast to Coast to Queenstown based Trojan Holdings. Robin Judkins continues as Race Ambassador, and will be around to fire competitors up, and at the finish to congratulate them on their amazing effort.

My Self Portrait

Today I finished my self portrait. It was really hard. First we had to water colour the boat and sea. Seconded we had use poly line to make the head. It was annoying because it always disappeared before I finished it. I really liked to draw the boat. I didn't like to cut out the head.This is my finished work.
